Import of elements of the Roscosmos testing station to simulate outer space.

Overview

The challenge:

The company supplying testing equipment for Roscosmos faced a seemingly very classic problem – with the originally declared HS code with a duty of 0%, customs decided to declare a code with a duty of 10%. The cost of two batches of equipment was 700 and 300 thousand euros and it is greatly beyond of the planned budget. We were faced with a task, leaving the legal field to import cargo with the originally declared HS code

We have considered the task and our team began its work. We have collected the necessary documents for order to an opinion and recommendations from technical experts. Then they based and fill technical documentation that could be provided under the HS code with zero duty. Afterwards to that actions the client saved 32 thousand euros in payments to custom clearance.

The main task:

We must to legal import cargo with the declared HS code with a duty of 0%

Total cost of cargo:

1 000 000 €

Saving:

32 000 €. Due to Outsourcing of Foreign Economic Activities from Dasslogisitcs
